Hello, my name is Sulaika Esselbrugge, most know me as Sue. I have three children at Rotokauri School; Eli in year 7, Ava in year 5 and Georgia who has just started in year 1.

My motivation for standing for the Board of Trustees comes from wanting to support the entire school community in creating a vibrant, inclusive and inspirational place for our children to learn and grow.

I am so proud to belong to the Rotokauri School community which provides my kids with such a positive learning environment, meaning that they are happy, excited and energised to go to school each day.

My background is in Marketing and Sponsorship, I co-own a Marketing Agency here in Hamilton and also look after Sponsorship for a local TVNZ Production. I think my skills in building strong & mutually beneficial relationships could be a valuable contribution to the Board as well as my in-depth knowledge of sponsorship and creating strategic partnerships. I am hardworking and I really enjoy working collaboratively to achieve a common goal.

Outside of work I enjoy time at the beach with family and friends. I love the outdoors and have a passion for the ocean.

I am excited about the bright future of our growing school community, and I am committed to drawing upon my professional experiences to help provide the right tools and support to continue the positive momentum of our school.
