ICASS
ICASS (Inter-Cultural Aotearoa Secondary Schools) is a cultural event hosted by Rotokauri School, where students from different schools come together to celebrate and learn about New Zealand's diverse cultures through performances, workshops, and activities.
EPRO8
EPRO8 is a fun and challenging event at Rotokauri School, where teams of students compete in engineering and problem-solving challenges, using a range of materials and tools to create innovative solutions to real-world problems.
PB4L
PB4L (Positive Behavior for Learning) is a school-wide initiative at Rotokauri School that promotes positive behavior and encourages students to take responsibility for their actions through a range of support strategies, including restorative practices and recognition of positive behavior.
Enviro Group
At Rotokauri School our aim is that through exploration, discovery and connections with the environment, students experience how to make decisions and take action to improve the physical and social environment of our places, our community and our world. The Enviro Group at Rotokauri School is a dedicated team of students and teachers, who are committed to promoting environmental sustainability and creating a greener future for our school and community.
LIT Quiz
Lit Quiz is a highly anticipated annual event at Rotokauri School, where students compete in teams to showcase their literary knowledge and love for reading.
Years 7 + 8 Tech
Our Year 7 & 8 students travel the Hamilton Junior High School to attend Tech once a week. They are involved in a variety of hands on activities that require them to plan and apply their technology skills. These lessons provide students with an opportunity to develop their practical skills in using a range of technologies and tools, across woodwork, art, and cooking classes.
STEM
STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) education is a key focus area, where students are encouraged to develop critical thinking and problem-solving skills through hands-on, project-based learning experiences that integrate STEM concepts and principles.
